Also, Food & Friends is looking for volunteers:

Monday/Tuesday Morning Volunteers: Join fabulous volunteers in Food & Friends' kitchen on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Shifts available on a weekly, or bi-weekly, basis, 6-8 a.m. or 7-9 a.m. To volunteer, contact Kitty Harding, 202.269.6824 or via email at kharding @ foodandfriends.org.

Capital Pride Festival: Sunday June, 10th
Join the largest one-day street festival in the metropolitan area at the ever-popular Food & Friends booth! We would love your fun presence for 2 hours during the festival. Besides providing a great venue for supporting the GLBT community (not to mention excellent people-watching), these festivals are also a great way to spread the word about Food & Friends and recruit new volunteers. Please contact Raul Burgos, 202.269.6822 or via email at rburgos @ foodandfriends.org, if you’d like to help out with the Capital Pride Street Festival.

Help Recruit Volunteers: Would you be willing to put up a flier about Food & Friends at your local coffee shop? Is there is a common area at your workplace that would look even better with the Food & Friends logo? Then, we need YOUR help! As we continue to expand our services to more of those in need, recruiting delivery volunteers becomes even more essential to the success of our mission. You can help increase our visibility by taking a few minutes to ask your neighborhood hang-out spot to put up a Food & Friends flier. Print the Flier.
